Stephen is well known in New Zealand for his use of Italian techniques such as murrine mosaic and twisted cane.
This cellular leaf is fused and kiln-formed, utilising a fine mosaic pattern to create the leaf detail. The surface has been sandblasted and etched to create a fine frosted finish.
